Child Care Council of Westchester hosts
Tom Chapin Family Concert on April 17, 2010

Grammy Award-wining musician, entertainer, singer-songwriter and storyteller, TOM CHAPIN, performed a family concert before an audience of hundreds at Archbishop Stepinac High School in White Plains on Saturday, April 17, 2010.

 

The fun-filled family concert kicked off the Council’s celebration of the Week of the Young Child, a national celebration sponsored by the National Association for the Education of Young Children to focus public attention on the critical needs of young children and their families and recognizes the early childhood programs and services that meet those needs.

The audience gets excited about one of Tom’s soon-to-be-released songs. The concert raised money to support the Council’s many projects, including expanding early literacy opportunities for children in need.
