Why become a professional member of the Child Care Council of Westchester?

The Child Care Council of Westchester works with parents, child care providers, employers, and community organizations to promote the availability of quality child care services in Westchester. We support child care professionals and businesses through a variety of services including training and professional development, help with registration, licensing, CDA credentialing, MAT training, and more.

The Council is here to help you:
  • Provide quality child care services
  • Grow your business
  • Enhance your professional skills
  • Keep current with regulatory requirements and professional trends.

Council membership entitles you to:

  • Discounted rates on Council workshops, conferences and on-site trainings
  • Free Internet job postings for openings in your center
  • Increased visibility on the Council website provider listing
  • Savings of time and money through the new group purchasing service for office and cleaning supplies, educational supplies and food.
  • Free use of the Council Resource Library and notary public services
  • Newsletters and Child Advocacy Alerts
  • Membership Certificate to post in your center

The savings from our training discounts and our new group purchasing program alone can offset the cost of your membership! You can save hundreds of dollars annually.

Our professional members are critical to our efforts to reshape and strengthen the business of educating and caring for Westchester’s children. As a member you will get involved with the core group of providers in Westchester who are making a difference in the lives of young children.

Your membership also supports the Council’s very important advocacy efforts. Recently, with your help, the Council has secured increased subsidy reimbursement for providers, a $1 million child care scholarship program, a parent co-pay at 10%, the lowest allowable rate, as well as program grants and enhancements.

The next couple years promise to be particularly challenging time for Westchester early care and education. We need a strong group of early care and education professionals to help us move early care and education forward for Westchester’s children. We need you.

Membership rates have held the line once again, and we’ve also reinstituted a $500 cap on the membership fee for child care centers.
