Free Technical Assistance & Resources for Family Providers
Through a contract with the Westchester County Department of Social Services, the Child Care Council provides free technical assistance and resources to providers serving children who are subsidized.
Technical assistance may address marketing techniques to boost enrollment or other program areas including:
- Incorporating age and developmentally appropriate activities
- Setting up a safe and stimulating environment
- Addressing health and safety concerns
- Enhancing curriculum
- Identifying subsidy program questions and issues
Free resources include fire extinguishers, smoke alarms, first aid kits, toys, books, games, etc.
