Child Care Scholarship Program
Funded by Westchester County and administered by the Child Care Council of Westchester, the Westchester County Child Care Scholarship is for working families in Westchester who are over income for public subsidies but have difficulty paying for child care. Families must reside in Westchester; have their child enrolled full time in a program that is regulated by the Office of Children and Family Services (OCFS) and fall within the income guidelines. Parents residing in the household must be employed full time. Scholarship amounts vary based on family income, age of the children in care, type of child care used and the number of children in the family. Scholarship funding is paid in monthly installments directly to the program or provider.

June 1, 2010 – December 31, 2010
The Child Care Council of Westchester is excited to announce the
availability of funds for child care scholarships.

If your child/ren is not in a regulated program, you must move them to a regulated program by May 21, 2010 to be eligible. Please call the Council’s Referral Department at 914-761-3456 x 140 for assistance in locating an OCFS regulated program.
Find your family size (parents and children living in your home), then check the chart to see if your family income qualifies you for a scholarship.
