Job Description: As head teacher, your responsibilities include: 1. Ensuring that all children enjoy a safe, joyful, sanitary, and aesthetically pleasing learning environment. 2. Maintaining accurate records. 3. Ensuring effective and accurate communication with parents. 4. Encouraging independence, freedom of movement, development of sel-care in the children. 5. Collaborating with your team to plan, reflect, delegate. 6. Leading your team by modeling Montessori practices. 7. Participating in staff development activities, educational trainings, and mentorship. 8. Writing a monthly e-newsletter that reflects Montessori methods in the infant environment, and outlining events occurring in the month agead and reflecting the development of children during the proceeding month.
Education and/or Experienced Required: Montessori Infant Toddler Credential or Infant Toddler Montessori Associates Credential CDS, Associates Degree, or B.A. Minimum 1 year infant or toddler classroom experience.
