The Covid-19 outbreak has been stressful and emotionally exhausting for all of us. It has been hard to take care of our physical and emotional well-being. Join us as we discuss provider-specific risk factors, practice relaxation techniques, and explore art and music and mindfulness techniques that can relieve your stress now and impact your program in the future.

Child Abuse Identification and Prevention, Including Possible COVID-19 Impacts on Children & Families

This specially designed Child Abuse Identification and Prevention training will not only include learning how, when, and why to report suspected child abuse or maltreatment to the State Central Register, what child abuse and maltreatment are, and understanding your responsibility as a Mandated Reporter. We will also discuss how the impact of COVID-19 has increased cases of domestic/child abuse and maltreatment, and how you can help. Please note: This training does not include information on preventing Shaken Baby Syndrome.

Esta capacitacion especificamente disenada para la identificacion y prevencion del abuso infantil no solo incluira aprender como, cuando y por que reportar sospechas de abuso infantile o maltrato al Registro Central del Estado, que son el abuso y maltrato infantile y comprender su responsabilidad como reportar obligatorio. Tambien discutiremos como el impacto de Covid -19 ha aumentado los casos de abuso y maltrato domestic/infantil, y como puede ayudar. Tenga en cuenta: Esta capacitacion no incluye informacion sobre como prevenir el Sindrome del Bebe Sacudido.
