The Child Care Council has been very supportive and helpful, from providing information and training to the stellar networking sessions hosted by SADN. The larger conferences offer innovative topics that we have brought to our after-school program. This in turn enhanced the overall quality of our program. We really feel the strong support from the organization and the knowledgeable people that we’ve met and interacted with.

— Hope O’Connell, Playful Wonders After-School, New Rochelle NY

The School Age Conferences provide workshops on many useful topics related to what we do each day. The last conference sponsored a ‘follow the money’ workshop. We took the ideas and started our own children’s’ business in the after school program. The children love setting up their own business and eventually selling their products to our parents and friends. Great idea from this conference.
