The best way to get the needed reimbursement rates is to collect actual cost of care info AND consider the compensation needed to attract and retain critically important child care professionals.
Such a study is now underway, conducted by Prenatal to Five Fiscal Strategies, but it will only be useful if programs and providers from across the state participate.
I canot urge you strongly enough to attend one of the provider input sessions starting November 15th through December 4th - weekdays, weekends, daytime, and evening sessions available.
